The invention concerns a device for sheathing a wire line element comprising: a shell defining in its inner part a chamber for receiving the element (4) and consisting at least partly of two partial shells (5, 6) capable of being tightly fixed to each other by axial clamping, having each an orifice (21, 22) to allow the wire to pass through, a sealing lining (9, 10) around each orifice; and two packing boxes (7, 8) axially mobile inside the shell, associated with each of the orifices, and provided with at least indirect mutual pressing means (24, 25) so that the axial clamping of the partial shells stresses the linings after the packing boxes have been pressed together. |
