The brake servo unit housing contains an incompressible reaction disk (39), which has a zone in contact with a plunger (17), which is driven by the brake pedal. When the contact is established between the disk and the plunger, the housing (47), for the reaction disk, consists of a zone occupied by the disk and a zone (51), filled by a compressible fluid, which allows, during the first phase, an elastic deformation of the reaction disk, and then during the second phase the disk fills entirely its housing and becomes incompressible.
