PURPOSE: A foldable bathtub and a device for folding the same are provided to spread the bathtub when required and to fold and store it if not needed, thereby to efficiently utilize a narrow space for toilet and/or shower booth. CONSTITUTION: The bathtub comprises both straight horizontal rotating bars(8,11) at both top ends of the tub; U shaped rotating bar(14) jointed to the bars(8,11); hemi-cylindrical cover(21) behind the U bar(14) and L shaped supplement cover(30). The bathtub folding device comprises a pair of vertical fixture bars(1,2) and a horizontal fixture bar(3), connections(4,5) having hinge pins(6,7) to joint the rotating bars(8,11,14). At middle portion of the rotating bar(14), two connections(17,18) are formed to couple both connections(22,23) with hinge pins(24,25). A soft water container element(29) is secured inside the straight bars(8,11) and the U bar(14).
