Plate cylinder and external plate positioning means

The plate cylinder has an axially extending gap (20) in the peripheral surface containing a registering pin (14) which is axially displaceable and can be locked by a locking device (50) which extends in the axial direction of the plate cylinder. A spring mechanism (40) acts on the registering pin and fixes this from slipping when the locking device is released. The locking device is formed by an eccentric clamping shaft (50) set in an axial bore of the plate cylinder communicating with the gap.
