The laminate for protection against ballistic effects involves several layers (1-4) of fabric comprising high strength fibers only connected to each other at points, thus producing a flexible laminate. The adhesive positions (6) are formed between the individual fabric layers in point arrangement. They have a diameter of approximately 0.1-2 mm. The adhesion positions in adjacent layers are displaced in relation to one another. At least individual layers are additionally joined to one another by sewing. The surface covered by the adhesion positions is preferably between 30 and 75 per cent. The fibers are of aramide, high performance polyethylene or glass. |
