<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed the main body of which is provided with a head-side main body frame, a leg-side main body frame, and an interlocking mechanism which mechanically connects a back bottom and a leg bottom to each other when the back and leg bottoms are respectively required to be movably attached to the head- and leg-side main body frames. SOLUTION: The interlocking mechanism is constituted to interlock the motion of the back bottom 2 when the bottom 2 shifts from a laying position to a standing-up position with the upward and downward motions of the leg bottom 3 from a fall-down position to the fall-down position again after the bottom 3 is once raised through a rotary member 33. For that reason, the upward and downward motions of the leg bottom 3 when the back bottom 2 shifts from the laying position to the standing-up position are correlated with the circular-arc motion of the portion of the rotary member 33 deviated from the center of rotation 33a of the member 33 when the member 33 rotates in one direction and the upward and downward motions of the leg bottom 3 when the back bottom 2 shifts from the standing-up position to the laying position are correlated with the circular-arc motion of the portion of the rotary member 33 deviated from the center of rotation 33a when the member 33 rotates in the other direction.</p> |
