PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new container for vulcanizing a tire wherein since a structure is simple and can be made compact, a less space is sufficed compared with a conventional one, and a tire uniformity and a productivity can be remarkably improved. SOLUTION: Each sector piece 21 equipped with a tire profile surface constituting a sector mold 17 is freely detachably attached to a back segment 22 equipped with a slant surface 22a on a rear surface side. The slant surface 23a of a guide segment 23 hung from a support plate 16a is freely slidably engaged with the slant surface 22a of the back segment 22. When the support plate 16a is raised or lowered by a lifter, each sector piece 21 fitted to the back segment 22 via the slant surface 22a engaged with the slant surface 23a of the guide segment 23 is constituted so as to function by expansion and contraction toward a center on a lower part side plate 14.
