PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven X-type gun which is held more stably by compositing a motor and a pressure driving part main body and by which a work can be very easily welded without causing any interference between the work and a jig. SOLUTION: In the motor-driven X-type gun that each intermediate part of two gun arms provided with electrodes at their ends and facing each other is journalized by a shaft, a pressurizing shaft 8 is connected to an arm 1, and the pressure driving part main body 7 is fixed to the other arm 3, on the rear ends of both arms, a driving motor 12 which drives the pressurizing shaft and the main body 7 are composited, a screw shaft forming the pressurizing shaft is engaged with a nut 14 unified with the rotating shaft 13 of the motor, one arm and the pressurizing shaft are pivotaly supported by a shaft 9, and the other arm and the main body 7 are pivotaly supported by a shaft 11.
