PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mud solidifying treatment technique capable of mixing mud with a proper amount of a solidifying material without relying on the experience or perception of an operator to solidify the same in a good state and capable of also enhancing work efficiency. SOLUTION: A mud solidifying treatment apparatus is equipped with a rotary drum 10 for raising and dropping mud and the solidifying material by scraping-up blades 7a, 7b and feeding them by feed blades 8 to mix and solidify them to form solidified mud, and provided with a control unit 11 for controlling the number of rotations of a mud feed-in screw conveyor 3a on the basis of the set value of the feed quantity of mud into the rotary drum so that the feed quantity of mud becomes the set value and controlling the number of rotations of the rotary drum 10 so as to be able to continuously treat mud without stagnating the same in the rotary drum 10 and controlling the number of rotations of a solidifying material feed-in screw conveyor 3b on the basis of the input value related to the set value and the measured water content ratio of mud so as to make the addition amount of the solidifying material to mud proper.
