PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly diagnose a brake booster internal pressure sensor for detecting pressure in a brake booster. SOLUTION: When judging that acceleration of a vehicle is smaller than an acceleration judging level λa (that is, deceleration is large) (S125), a differential pressure MAX value (that is, a pressure change in the brake booster) detected on the basis of an output signal of a brake booster pressure sensor 23 is compared with a judging criterion value λp to diagnose the brake booster pressure sensor 23 (S150 to S160). Here, the acceleration judging level λa is set according to the investigated result (S115) by investigating a vehicle deceleration factor (such as a climbing judging result, the existence of shift-down and elapsed time from the occurrence of the shift-down) other than brake operation on a brake pedal 16. |
