<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal decomposition method by which a small amount of waste including plastics can be thermally decomposed with a high heat efficiency in a non-oxygen or a low oxygen state and sterilization and quantity/volume reduction can be achieved, and a thermal decomposition device for putting the described method into practice as well as a neutralization tank of a simple construction for neutralizing an acidic substance contained in a trapped thermal decomposition gas, the maintenance and control of which are easy. SOLUTION: This method is operated in such a way that when the waste including plastics is thermally decomposed, in a non-oxygen or a low oxygen state, in a heating container, the waste loaded in the heating container is thermally decomposed by placing a drop lid on the waste and that the produced thermal decomposition gas is sucked into the outside of the heating container and treated. In addition the device using the described method is provided and the neutralization tank is provided which has a water tank divided into two inclined upper/lower sections by an inclined separator with an opening, the upper section containing powdered calcium carbonate piled in a laminar fashion and the lower section inducting an aqueous and solution to the inside from the bottom.</p> |
