PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod having a joint structure hardly causing loosening or missing, capable of easily detaching and attaching and excellent in operability. SOLUTION: This fishing rod has a simple joint mechanism of detachably joining a male joint part 10a into a female joint part 1a and is characterized by having a tapered part 1b increasing its diameter toward the tip and the following straight part 10c at the inside of the female joint part 1a and a tapered part 10b decreasing its diameter toward the tip at the outside of the male joint part 10a.
