PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polyester resin composition excellent in the balance of physical properties by improving heat stability in a molten state while maintaining low warpage, good external appearances and excellent mechanical characteristics. SOLUTION: The polyester resin composition comprises a thermoplastic polyester resin and a layered compound treated with a polyether compound having a cyclic hydrocarbyl group.
