PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower limb rehabilitation device which can be operated easily and safely for bending/stretching motion teaching and recovery training. SOLUTION: This lower limb rehabilitation device is composed of a lower limb driving device which moves the lower limb of a patient with an external force, a lower limb splint which is fitted to the lower limb of the patient and consists of a crus section splint (61) and a femoral region splint, a bed for laying down the patient, a foot rest, and a control section which controls the lower limb driving device. The crus section splint (61) is provided with a leg section (611), a crus section (612), and a frame (613) which reinforces the leg section (611) and crus section (612). The splint (61) is also provided with a joint (614) which connects the leg section (611) and crus section (612) to each other, a projection (10) having a shape resembling that of the heel of the human being in the heel section (615) of the leg section (611) and a brake releasing switch (9) in the heel section (615). |
