PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optionally connect a connector of different kinds of lenses such as an automatic diaphragm lens L1 with a galvanometer control circuit or an automatic diaphragm lens L2 without the control circuit to a connector of a video camera in an interchangeable way. SOLUTION: An optical control signal I resulting from amplifying an output of a photo sensor of the video camera is directly or through the galvanometer control circuit P to an analog switch (t). In the case of connecting the connector of the automatic diaphragm lens L1 of a VS control type to the common connector (k) of the video camera, the optical control signal I is directly connected to the analog switch (t) and the common connector, and in case of connecting the connector of the automatic diaphragm lens L2 of a DC control type to the common connector (k) of the video camera, the optical control signal I is given to the galvanometer control circuit P, from which a galvanometer control current 2 equivalent to a video signal IVpp of the video camera is given to the common connector (k) through the switching of the analog switch.
