PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing method for enabling a user to acquire information provided from plural information providers within a short access time and enabling each information provider to provide its owned useful information to more users. SOLUTION: The information providing method for providing various kinds of information to an access user 3 on a computer network 5 consisting of plural computer terminals connected to each other so as to communicate data includes a receiving step for receiving the category of information required by the access user 3, an information collection step for acquiring information concerned with the received category from the computer servers of plural information providers through the network 5 and a reorganization step for reorganizing the collected information and providing the reorganized information to the user 3.
