PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a plurality of SDVTR and a plurality of monitors to record and display all image signals of channels picked-up by a camera. SOLUTION: Image signals in compliance with the SDVTR standards outputted from a camera unit 101 are fed to SDVTR units 400 and 500 via an IEEE 1394 bus 300 by using odd number of lines for a 1st channel and even number of lines for a 2nd channel and the signals of each channel are captured, recorded/reproduced respectively. Monitor units 800 and 900 display reproduction signals of 1st and 2nd channels respectively. Furthermore, the monitor units 800 and 900 can respectively display image signals of the 1st and 2nd channels from the camera unit l01.
