PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive material capable of strongly adhering a light transmissible plastic film to a substrate and as a result, smoothly advancing precise operations in the step of manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel and further, easily peeling off the light transmissible plastic film by ultraviolet irradiation after completion of manufacturing the liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: This pressure-sensitive adhesive material is in the form of a one-layer thin film, and can strongly adhere a light transmissible plastic film placed on a first surface of the film to a substrate for fixation arranged on a second surface of the film to integrate them before ultraviolet irradiation and further, can allow the bonding force to the light transmissible plastic film to be rendered weaker than that to the above substrate after the ultraviolet irradiation to easily peel off the above light transmissible plastic film. The material comprises 100 pts.wt. electrometric polymer, 5-150 pts.wt. ultraviolet- crosslinkable resin, 1-100 pts.wt. tackifier, and 0.1-20 pts.wt. polymerization initiator.
