PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal storage apparatus having a high COP even in any of a cold storage operation and a warm heat storage operation. SOLUTION: A thermal storage mechanism (5) provided in a refrigerant circuit (1) has a thermal storage tank (34), a thermal storage medium (40) stored in the tank (34), and a heat transfer coil (35). The medium (40) is formed of a thermal storage capsule slurry obtained by mixing thermal storage capsules and water. A filler having a melting point of 5 to 25 deg.C is filled in each capsule of the thermal storage capsule. A latent heat thermal storage is conducted in both the cool thermal storage operation and the warm thermal storage operation. |
