PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an informing device, with which a sensor can be connected to any arbitrary connecting terminal regardless of the kind of sensors and the setting work can be simplified. SOLUTION: The informing device 1 is provided with a sensor deciding means 2 composed of an initial state storage means 6 for storing sensor signals XA and XB respectively supplied from a make contact sensor 5A or break contact sensor 5B as initial state data XA0 and XB0 and an abnormality identifying means 7 for identifying an abnormality in a detection target by logically operating the sensor signal XA or XB in the arbitrary state supplied from the make contact sensor 5A or break contact sensor 5B and the initial state data XA0 or XB0. |
