PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the quantity of an inactive gas used to replace an irradiation atmosphere with an atmosphere of the inactive gas and remove the oxygen adhering to a pulverulent body by reaching under an irradiation window in an electron beam irradiator that treats them. SOLUTION: Sections where objects to be conveyed stay are formed on the side of the entrance and the exit of a conveying route, and the inactive gas is blown into the section on the side of the entrance.
