PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a differently shrinking polyester-based blended yarn capable of expressing stretching properties, preferable bulky feeling and soft hand feeling when processed into a pre-bulky yarn and a knit woven fabric (post-bulky yarn) and having strong color fastness to dying and no flickering feeling. SOLUTION: This differently shrinking polyester blended yarn comprises a lower shrinking polyester fiber group >=90 mole % of which is ethylene terephthalate repeating units and a higher shrinking polyester fiber group >=90 mole % of which is trimethylene terephthalate repeating units. In the blended yarn, the lower shrinking fiber group comprises the polyethylene terephthalate fiber having 20-60% elongation at break and <=4% shrinkage in boiling water, the higher shrinking fiber group comprises the polytrimethylene terephthalate fiber having 20-60% elongation at break and 8-25% shrinkage in boiling water and the maximum of heat shrinkage stress of the whole fiber is 0.1-0.33 cN/dtex.
