PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip processor which can reduce the time and labor required for its reading jobs for slips. SOLUTION: This slip processor consists of an image/data base server 1 which stores the raw image data on the slips that are read by a scanner 2, the processed partial image data and the incidental information, etc., on the image data and an image registration/partial image production terminal 3 which produces the partial image data from the total image data on the slips read by the scanner 2 and registers the partial image data and the incidental information on these image data on the server 1 with association secured between them and in accordance with a single or plural partial reading ranges which are previously set for each type of slips.
