PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispose of vapor generated in a fuel tank via the smallest possible number of components. SOLUTION: A fuel pump 7 is installed to force-feed fuel stored in a fuel tank 6. The fuel pump supplies fuel from the fuel tank. The fuel pump supplies fuel from the fuel tank via an intake means 8 having a fuel inlet 13 opening into fuel in the fuel tank and a gas inlet 12 opening into a space formed above the level of fuel in the fuel tank.
