PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decreasing discharge of a global warming material from an incinerator capable of more decreasing a discharge amount of the global warming material as the whole of a system than conventional. SOLUTION: After exhaust gas of an incinerator 1 containing nitrous oxide is treated by a dust collector 4 and a scrubber 5, the exhaust gas is activated by a pulse plasma generating device 12. The activated exhaust gas is caused to flow through a catalytic reaction tower 9 filled with a nitrous oxide removing catalyst to remove nitrous oxide. Preferably, a substance made by using stannic acid as a raw material or a substance made by making TiO2 carry Pt or Pd is used as the nitrous oxide removing catalyst. |
