PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ISDN terminal adaptor that prevents a terminal from being occupied by a specific user and used continuously thereby when users uses the one terminal in common for communication via an ISDN. SOLUTION: User IDs of the users and maximum communication times are registered in advance in an individual information table of a storage section 3. In the case of connection processing with an ISDN, a communication control section 8 transmits a user ID acquired via a terminal interface section 1 to an ID discrimination section 5, which confirms whether or not the user ID is registered in the individual information table, and transmits the user ID to a communication time supervisory section 6, which confirms an accumulated communication time does not reach the maximum communication time and conducts connection processing with the ISDN. After the start of communication, the control section 8 allows the communication time supervisory section 6 to supervise the accumulated communication time and interrupts the connection with the ISDN when the accumulated time reaches the maximum communication time.
