PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel feed pump that is controllable in force feed start timing. SOLUTION: Between a rotary part rotatable in synchronism with a propelling engine, and a driveshaft fixedly mounted with cams for driving plungers of a compressing mechanism for force-feeding fuel, a phase adjusting means is interposed to vary the phase of the driveshaft with respect to the axis of rotation. The lift timing of the plungers is thus variable with respect to the rotary part synchronized with the propelling engine, with the result that force feed start timing is adjustable.
