PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath device which can make reheating at high heating efficiency regardless of the outdoor air temperature and the temperature of the hot water contained in a bathtub. SOLUTION: A control means U is constituted in such a way that the means U stores efficiency propriety discriminating conditions for discriminating whether the heating efficiency by means of a heat pump type heating section B exceeds that by means of an auxiliary heating section 35 from the outdoor air temperature and the temperature of the hot water contained in the bathtub, discriminates the propriety of the operation of the heating section B by discriminating whether or not the heating efficiency by means of the heating section B exceeds that by means of the heating section 35 based on the information on the detected results of an outdoor air temperature detecting means and a bathtub temperature detecting means 57 and the efficiency propriety discriminating conditions, and only operates the heat pump heating section B when the operation of the section B is satisfactory based on the discriminated results. When the operation of the section B is dissatisfactory, the means U executes automatic selective heating section operation for only operating the auxiliary heating section 35.
