PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping construction and a U-turn piece used for the piping construction for which the excavation of main and branch pipe portion under road is completed in the first work, and work for replacing the existing inner pipe with a new inner pipe when any particular circumustances inside a house lot have been solved, can be carried out without excavating the road outside the house lot by using the piping construction and the U-turn piece therefor. SOLUTION: When connecting the main and branch pipes embedded below a road or the like outside the house lot to an existing inner pipe laid inside the house lot, a U-turn piece is formed with which the fluid from the main and branch pipes is once extended to the inside of the house lot and then makes a U-turn and returns to the road excavated portion, and it is connected to the existing inner pipe in the excavated portion in the road in this piping construction. Also, a small-diameter distribution pipe 11 is inserted to a large-diameter communication pipe 12 and a run-off outlet 16 is formed at the outer surface of the communication pipe, the fluid inside the distribution pipe 11 connected to the main and branch pipes is supplied in such a manner that the outer surface is U-turned from the end portion of the distribution pipe inside the communication pipe 12 and the communication piping is formed from the run-off outlet 16 provided in the communication pipe to the destination of the supply. In another example, there is a construction in which two resin pipes 35 and 36 are connected to a U-turn shape. When any obstacle 21 on the embedded inner pipe 31 inside the house lot has been removed, a portion piped to the inside of house lot is cut off and a new inner pipe 12 is connected and the inside of the house lot can be replaced with a new inner pipe.
