The method involves using sensors to determine the quality parameters under the conditions prevailing in the containers (14). Liquid under the pressure existing in the container is fed into a temp. system and set to a temp. corresp. to that of the sensors, after which the liquid is fed to the sensors (22,24,26,28) e.g. O-2 (24), CO2 (26), colour (28). The container is subjected to an inert gas for transportation purposes. The inert gas can be nitrogen or another gas free of oxygen and/or carbon dioxide at a pressure of pref. 3 to 4 bars.
