PURPOSE: Provided is a water soluble acrylic elastic waterproof agent for coating, which parts elasticity to the film to prevent the film from cutting at the lower temperature, as well as enables waterproof effects to last, and a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: The waterproof agent consists of 50-60 parts of acrylic resin, 4-6 parts of TiO2 which is a filler, 5-7 parts of talc, 5-7 parts of calcium carbonate(CaCO3), 4-6 parts of barium, 0.3 parts of AMP-95 which is a strong alkaline component for adjusting a pH, 2-4 parts of fibrous powder, 2-4 parts of dibutyl phthalate which is plasticizers, 0.1-0.3 parts of dispersing agents, 0.03-0.08 parts of preservatives, 0.2-0.7 parts of antifoaming agent, 0.5-0.7 parts of thickener, 10-15 parts of water, and small quantities of aqueous ammonia. The waterproof agent is prepared by the steps of (i) premixing small quantities of filler, aluminum stearate, aqueous ammonia and AMP-95, and so on with a water soluble acrylic rubbery system with stirring to obtain a premix, (ii) reacting the premix, (iii) adding fibrous powder, dispersing agent, water, inorganic filler, antifoaming agent, preservative, and so on to the premix, and then dispersing and stirring them, and (iv) adjusting a pH to 9-10.
