PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin for a photo-recording medium and a sheet, suitable for high-temperature molding and continuous sheet molding, having excellent heat stability, which has an eliminated dimer carbonate and a small difference in molecular weights between surface and middle layers of the molding, in a production method of the polycarbonate resin. SOLUTION: In the production method of the polycarbonate resin comprising an interfacial polymerization method or a solution polymerization method, the method comprises directly adding a molecular weight modifier in a melting state with agitating to a reaction system. |
