PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet conveying device capable of effectively preventing the occurrence of a jam due to vapor condensation in a paper conveying route and preventing corner bending of a paper sheet. SOLUTION: A paper sheet conveying device is capable of conveying paper sheets by selectively branching the paper sheets. The paper sheet conveying device comprises a movable branching member 14 to selectively branch a conveying route for a paper sheet to be conveyed; guide members 22 and 23 to guide the paper sheet branched by the moving branching member 14; and vent through holes through which air supplied from a position below the moving branch member 14 is ventilated and which are formed in the guide members 22 and 23.
