PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder capable of surely grasping a book or the like without impairing visibility of a paper surface by eliminating a problem hard to observe a picture, characters or the like of a surface of book paper or a discrete separation of binding by a simple method. SOLUTION: Surfaces of the book 10, a case 31 for a CD or the like are grasped by a recessed inside surface of a grasping part 1, and fixed by a double- side adhesive tape 3. Thus, the book 10 or the like can be grasped even when holes 7 for inserting a file ring 20, a holder shaft 21 or the like are not perforated at the book 10 or the like of a material to be grasped. A plurality of the books 10 or the like can be simultaneously bound or engaged. Further, the grasping part 1 is formed of a flexible or bendable plate and a binding margin 2 in which the holes 7 for inserting the file ring 20, the shaft 21 and the like are perforated is attached separately from the part 1. Accordingly, there is no disturbance of a movement such as opening/closing of the surface of the grasped book 10.
