PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating tool guiding catheter easily insertable into and extractable from a lumen such as a thin or sharply bent blood vessel. SOLUTION: In this through-lumen type treating tool guiding catheter, a balloon for forming an arc-shaped surface at least in a part at inflating time is arranged in a tip part of an elastic catheter body being usually in a straight line shape. A bus bar directional outside surface of the catheter tip part is joined to a surface for forming the arc-shaped surface of the balloon. Thus, the catheter tip part is wound and bent in an arc shape by the inflating time arc-shaped surface of the balloon. The catheter tip part is returned to a straight line shape at balloon contracting time. An air passing hole for supplying and exhausting air in and from the balloon is vertically penetrated through the catheter body. |
