PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container of an instrument panel allowed to open and close a cover without intercepting visibility of an occupant even when the container is arranged in an upper part of the instrument panel, particularly, on the driver's seat side. SOLUTION: This container 2 arranged in the upper part of the instrument panel is composed of a recessed part 20 formed in the upper part of the instrument panel and the cover 10 for opening and closing the recessed part 20 by slidingly moving along an opening part of the recessed part 20.
