PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyolefin film which has a smooth surface and is used for producing a gas-barrier film having a low gas permeability and an enhanced capability for storing food, medicines, electronic parts, mechanical parts, a metal powder, etc. SOLUTION: At least one surface of the polyolefin film is so smooth that the average surface roughness SRa measured about an area of at least 200μm×200μm is 20 nm or lower. Preferably, the number of projections having heights of 100 nm or higher and/or the number of pits having depths of 100 nm or deeper on the film surface is 2/0.1 mm2 or less.
