PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sweeping away collected dust/ash from filter cloths in a bag filter which realizes easy and effective sweeping-away of collected dust/ash, and can be miniaturized the size of the bag filter without the lowering harmful substance removing performance. SOLUTION: This bag filter device is a pulsed jet type bag filter device for collecting and removing dust in a flue gas discharged from an incinerator or the like wherein, when air pulses are jetted to successively sweep away accumulated collected dust/ash from filter cloths 21-25, the air pulses are concurrently jetted to concurrently sweep away the collected dust/ash from a plurality of filter cloth columns placed adjacently to each other.
