PURPOSE:To eliminate suction of gas refrigerant by a refrigerant pump even if an ice melting cooling is started, to obviate wear and heat generation due to lubrication failure and to improve durability by starting the pump by delaying a predetermined time at the time of initiating the ice melting cooling. CONSTITUTION:Delay means 59 is interposed at a signal line for connecting a central processing unit 53 in a controller 50a for controlling the operation of an ice heat storage type air-conditioner to a refrigerant pump 6. When a refrigerant circuit is switched from a cooling circuit to an ice melting cooling circuit, a stop command is output to a compressor 26, and a start command is output to a water pump 5 and the pump 6. However, the start command signal of the pump 6 is once fed to the means 59, a predetermined time (e.g. 60sec) is delayed, and input to the pump 6. A start delay time of the pump 6 is set to a time or required for shifting entire liquid refrigerant stored in a liquid reservoir to a heat transfer tube for icemaking and a heat transfer tube for ice-melting. Thus, the pump 6 does not suck the gas refrigerant at the time of its starting. |
