PURPOSE: A CD(Compact Disc) for outputting a multi-track audio signal and a method for the same are provided to output simultaneously multi-track signals of digital audio signals by using only one audio CD device. CONSTITUTION: A pickup portion(100) reads a signal from an audio CD. An amplifier(110) compensates and amplifies the signal received from the pickup portion(100). A servo-DSP(Digital Signal Processor) portion(120) detects a rotary speed of the audio CD and a monitoring signal of an optical pickup by analyzing the amplified signal. A driver portion(130) processes the monitoring signal and controls the rotary speed of the audio CD and a position of the optical pickup. A DSP portion(140) corrects an error of the amplified signal. A CPU(150) controls all operations of components. A memory portion(160) stores a compressed digital audio signal. The first and the second compression DSP(170,180) compress a digital audio signal received from the DSP portion(140) and stores the compressed digital audio signal in the memory portion(160), and decompresses the compressed digital audio signal. The first and the second DAC(Digital Analog Converter)(190,200) convert the digital audio signals of the first and the second compression DSP(170,180) to analog audio signals.
