PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for supplying power by functions in a composite wireless terminal is provided to extend the time of using a battery by supplying current only to an actually used circuit so that the current consumption can be minimized. CONSTITUTION: An RF(Radio Frequency) part(12) removes a carrier signal component from a signal transmitted to a composite wireless terminal and outputs it to a voice processing part(113) or a composite terminal processing part(114). The voice processing part(113), in case that the received signal is a voice signal, demodulates the signal and outputs it to a speaker(SPK). Also the voice processing part(113) receives a voice signal from a microphone, modulates the signal, and outputs it to the RF part(112). The composite terminal processing part(114) executes the processing of data to transmit and the processing of received data. A control part(111), controlling the overall operations of the composite wireless terminal, controls the switching of the first switches(SW1) and the second switch(SW2). A memory(115) temporarily stores necessary data for the execution of the composite wireless terminal, information inputted by a user, and data generated in operation. A key input part(116) generates a key signal corresponding to the user's key input and outputs the signal to the control part(111). A display part(117) displays the current status of the composite wireless terminal or the process dependent on its operation.
