PURPOSE: Oil sealing structure of a rack bar for a steering system is provided to improve sealing performance between a mold and a rack bar and to efficiently prevent leakage of oil from a cylinder of a rack housing. CONSTITUTION: Oil sealing structure for a rack bar in a steering system comprises a mold(1) mounted between a rack housing(10) and a rock bar(30); a cylinder(11) mounted in the rack housing; an oil seal(3) installed on an end portion of the mold toward the cylinder; a tension hole(1a) repulsing the end portion of the mold toward the rack bar and the rack housing; and an O-ring(2) inserted between the rack housing and a peripheral face of the mold. The oil contained in the cylinder is not discharged by the oil seal mounted between the mold and the rack bar while moving the rack bar toward a shaft direction. Thereby, the oil sealing structure of a rack bar for a steering system efficiently prevents leakage of the oil from the cylinder of the rack housing. Moreover, the oil sealing structure of the rack bar improves assembly by easily installing the mold and the oil seal.
