摘要 PURPOSE: An error correction method for an effective switching power amplification of a pulse modulation signal is provided, which can solve a nonlinearity problem of a switching power amplification stage as using an output of the switching power amplification stage as a feedback signal and a pulse modulation signal as a reference signal. CONSTITUTION: According to the method, an error signal where using a pulse modulation signal as a reference signal and an output signal of a switching power amplification stage as a feedback signal is inputted to a compensator to generate a control signal. And another compensation pulse modulation signal having a required correction width and sign determined from the control signal is added with the pulse modulation signal and then is used as an input signal of the switching power amplification stage. The compensation pulse modulation signal is determined by comparing a periodic wave maintaining a constant linearity by centering a reference edge of the input pulse modulation signal with a value of the control signal. A width of the compensation pulse modulation signal is proportional to an absolute value of the amplitude of the control signal, and a sign of the compensation pulse modulation signal is determined by a sign of the control signal.
