摘要 The present invention relates to a water-permeable pavement block using waste ceramic of a continuous porous structure which is recycled aggregate of a waste ceramic material replacing a pavement block made of a conventional asphalt or concrete pavement material which is not water permeable. Nonflammable waste fragments such as waste glass such as bottle glass which is soda lime glass and waste clay china are stirred, crushed, and friction-polished into a smooth and round form with a particle size of 5 mm or smaller without forming sharp edges to form spherical ceramic aggregate in a round grain form. An epoxy resin which is a thermosetting resin is mixed and dispersed in the spherical ceramic aggregate for purposes of improving strength and realizing water permeability. The ceramic aggregate with the epoxy resin is firmly hardened and shaped into a block shape. The resin is point-affixed to the uniformly dispersed spherical ceramic aggregate without pulling the resin into a space between spheres of the ceramic aggregate adhering to each other. A continuous porous layer of an air gap in a non-adhesive layer between spheres of the ceramic aggregate has a good binding force. Therefore, the water-permeable pavement block is durable, lightweight, and formable, and has high tensile strength and flexibility at the same time. The form of the pavement block is stable by high mechanical strength, and water permeability is satisfied.
