PURPOSE: An automatic cleaning device for a manipulation pedal of a faucet to be closed automatically is provided to save water consumption by supplying water only when a water opening/closing element is pressed by a user and clean an upper pedal of the water channel opening/closing element when the water channel opening/closing element is not pressed. CONSTITUTION: An automatic cleaning device for a manipulation pedal of a faucet to be closed automatically includes a pedal cleaning part(30) having a coupling element(31) to be coupled with a shaft of a water channel opening/closing operation element forming a water saving element, a plate element(32) coupled with an end part of the shaft and formed with a plurality of holes radially at a predetermined position, a hook element(33) contacting a bottom part of the plate element and formed with a slant surface radially for forming a hook, a packing element(34) contacting the bottom part of the plate element by the hook element, a tube connection element(35) mounted at a lowermost part of drain parts(12a,13a,16a,16b) communicated with a water channel setting part(12), a water channel opening/closing part(13) and a lower water channel forming part(16), and a drain tube(36) having an end connected to a bottom part of the tube connection element and the other end for cleaning an upper pedal, wherein the plate element and the hook element are integrated.
