PURPOSE: A keyboard-combined telephone system using a standard interface method is provided to redouble convenience and efficiency in various ways by integrating a keyboard function and a telephone function. CONSTITUTION: If a user lifts a handset(400) while doing PC work, an "H" signal is supplied to a control port(216) in a USB interface(210). At this moment, a USB CPU(215) enters into a telephone call mode. As the telephone mode signal from the USB CPU(215) is transferred to a PC side(100) through a serial interface engine(213), a USB interface transceiver(211), and a USB line, a web-phone application program is activated. The PC side(100) is connected to a service host site(570) through an external communication network via an network interface(110) by its own operating system. Then, after checking the user's ID and password, the PC(100) gets ready for receiving telephone information. If the user inputs a telephone number using a 10 keys-combined phone key(330) in a keyboard data input part, the PC(100) checks whether inputted information has an error, and attempts access to a client(580) corresponding to the telephone number.
