PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in a ball pen having the rear end of a refill in the inner aperture of a tail plug installed in the rear of an axial cylin der, when the tail plug installing side of the axial cylinder is kept in a down ward direction for a long time, the phenomenon can occur, in which grease droop from the rear end inner surface of the refill has filled the insertion clear ance between the tail plug and the rear end of the refill by a capillary phenome non, because effluent/follow of ink and grease for pen point is inhibited, cased by the hampered ventilation performance between the rear end of the refill and the axial cylinder outside, resulting poor ink supply for pen point. SOLUTION: The rear end of the refill is inserted and decentered in the inner aperture circumferential surface of the tail plug.
