PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a tape cartridge for copying device providing a tape tension to stretch the tape in cartridge case, with a part of the tape kept as if it runs around the top of copying head. SOLUTION: The tape cartridge 31 can be attached/detached to/from the case 31 for the copying device 71 of coating film, and it has a cartridge case 33 providing a peripheral wall 35 and an upper wall 34, which is fit to the case. On the peripheral wall, an opening 41 is prepared to enable the tape to be come in/out from/to the lower side end. The tape tension 1 which can be attached/detached to/from the opening, is apart each other on the rear end side and integrated on the top side, and provided with a peripheral wall 3 which includes two extensive sections 5a and 5b vertically wide. The extensive sections are mounted against the opening of cartridge case on the rear end side, and provided with slits 13a and 13b which extend in a given vertical length from the lower side end to the upper side end respectively. The tape started from the cartridge case inside passes through one of slits and runs around the outside of extensive sections and top section, and then returns to the inside of cartridge case.
