PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an unevenness of a density formed according to an area of the density particularly as a result of the difference of the characteristics of the density in the area of the density of an image printed by printhead having a plurality of the arranged printing elements. SOLUTION: An unevenness of a density differently generated in response to an area of a density can be effectively corrected by preparing a table group for correction making the correction process different depending on a area of the density, recording a test pattern corresponding to a plurality of the densities according to a test pattern of a predetermined density and making possible to select the table group for correction used for correction. |
