PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge for a small capacity, having the same ink supply characteristic as that of an ordinary ink cartridge. SOLUTION: An ink supply opening 5 is disposed to the side wall 4 on one short side. A recess part 11 projecting inward, is formed on the side wall 10 on the other short side. Ribs 13 and 14 parallel with the side wall 12 on the long side and projecting to the ink supply opening side, are formed in the recess part 11. By the side wall 4, and the ribs 13 and 14, an ink absorbing member 16 of a length according to an ink storage chamber, is limited. |
